Changes & Adjustments

Shield Balance Adjustments

  • Magic Shield (Gauntlet) Buff

    • The Magic Shield (Gauntlet) had relatively low physical defense, making it difficult to use effectively with a more aggressive, frontline playstyle. Its physical damage reduction has been increased.

  • Reduced Performance Gaps Between Rarities

    • The performance difference between shield rarities was greater than intended. We have increased the base stats of ★1 shields and reduced the overall gap between rarities. This makes lower-rarity shields more viable options.

  • Improved Shield Variety

    • To address the tendency for players to favor certain shields, we have increased the performance of other shields and narrowed the overall performance gap between them.

  • Role-Based Adjustments

    • Burst power and weight have been adjusted to better distinguish the intended roles of each shield, such as defense-focused, stagger-focused, or lightweight options. These changes are intended to give each shield a clearer identity and expand the range of viable strategies.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where selecting a language different from the system language on first launch could cause UI elements to display incorrectly.

  • Fixed an issue where the game could become unresponsive when opening or closing the pause menu.

  • Fixed an issue where the pause menu could no longer be opened after saving the Battle Pouch.

  • Fixed missing text in certain UI elements and sequences.

  • Fixed various other minor issues.

How to Update

Meta Quest

  1. Check the Meta Quest Store or Library to see if an update is available for Knights of Fiona.

  2. Install the update and launch the game. If necessary, fully close and restart the app.

SteamVR

  1. Launch Steam and check your Library to make sure the update has finished downloading.

  2. Restart the Steam client or the game, then launch Knights of Fiona.
